Bonanza is celebrating its 30th birthday this year. Bonanza Shop & Catering Equipment opened its doors in Anderson Street in Nelspruit CBD on 1 August 1990. Alan & Wendy South have been building a strong local business ever since. Bonanza Shop & Catering Equipment has witnessed many new and exciting restaurants and lodges that have opened over the years. We pride ourselves in walking the long journey with our clients by supplying quality products and offering reliable service that comes from years of experience in the industry.
Bonanza would not be Bonanza without the staff of Bonanza. Bonanza is a proud local Lowveld family run business that is honored to still have original staff members that started with Bonanza 30 years ago. Bonanza has witnessed how its own staff member’s families have grown over the years and how the success of Bonanza, has supported the success of our staff members’ families’ lives. Over the years there have been babies born, teenagers getting driver licenses as well as Matriculants achieving great results and being accepted to universities and top colleges. All top proud moments that we all celebrate together as a family. There have been a few weddings and we have unfortunately had to hold hands at a few funerals. Our humble business has grown over the years into being the largest catering equipment warehouse in the province. Bonanza has put meals on tables and sees dreams come true. This is what makes doing business so important in such economic times.
Some staff members have seen the ocean for the first time because we needed to install a commercial kitchen on the other side of the country. Our technicians have seen the most amazing wildlife moments while on route to fix an oven or a fridge at a bushveld lodge. Our drivers and installation teams have seen more of parts of South Africa than most ever will. We are proud of our strong dynamic team. We would not only like to thank our staff but also our loyal clients for the support and trust that Bonanza has built its success on.
